5 Loaves 2 Fish are once again teaming up with local businesses and churches for donations of gently used and new winter outerwear. Collection boxes are located at all Garner churches and Hy-Vee, Veterans Memorial Rec Center, GHV P8 School, Concord Care Center, and Iowa Mold Tooling. Donations of gently used or new coats, hats, scarves, waterproof gloves, waterproof boots, snow pants, blankets, thick socks, and any size warm clothing items are appreciated. The distribution event will be held on November 8 from 4:30-6 pm at the United Presbyterian Church, 475 Maben, in Garner.
