Salads, salads, salads!!! St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garner, Iowa, is the place to be on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 11 am - 1 pm. A wide variety of vegetable, fruit and savory selections will be served with a homemade dinner roll and choice of beverage at a cost of $10 per person. Tickets are available in advance from any LWML member, the Church Office (641-923-2261) or at the door. The luncheon will be held in the basement and an elevator is available if needed.

The Table, supported by 5 Loaves 2 Fish, Inc., will again be providing FREE weekday noon meals to any kids through age 18 this summer. All kids through age 18 can attend. Parents/caregivers escorting small children are also welcome. Meals will be served weekdays Monday through Friday during the summer starting June 1. Meals will be served from 12-12:30 pm with activities available following lunch through 1 pm.  Take home meals are also available. Come to THE TABLE at the United Methodist Church, 885 Maben Avenue in Garner!

GHV students in grades 5-11 will keep their ChromeBooks over the summer. Students should bring their fully charged ChromeBooks on the first day of school in the fall. For students not returning to GHV in the fall, parents are asked to make arrangements to return the ChromeBook and charger at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. In celebration of National Pie Day, St. Paul Lutheran Church will host its 15th Annual Homemade Soup & Pie Luncheon from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022.  St. Paul Lutheran Church is located at 810 State Street in Garner. The luncheon will be held in the church basement so entrance may be gained through the west door or the handicap/elevator entrance on the east side of the education wing. Take out is available.
