Spanish Trip Informational Meeting:

GHV is thrilled to announce an incredible educational travel opportunity that your student will not want to miss.  We will be visiting the vibrant city of Barcelona, exploring San Sebastian - the starting point of the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage - and finally, immersing ourselves in the beauty of Paris.

GHV is delaying the start of school until Friday, August 25th due to anticipated weather conditions. There will be no classes on Wednesday and Thursday.  Staff will be on-site finding cool areas to work.  Please see your email for more information.  Your understanding is appreciated as we prioritize safety. Please contact the school with any questions.

On Saturday, July 8 St. Paul Lutheran Church will be serving lunch in the church basement.  Lunch will be served from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Please click HERE  to see event details.

St. Paul Lutheran Church will also be sponsoring an Ultimate Strength demonstration on Saturday, July 8 from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm.  The demonstration will be on the north side of Garner's Central Park.  Please click HERE to see the event flyer.

Garner-Hayfield-Ventura School Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the GHV High School library. Visitors are welcome to attend. The next regular school board meeting is Monday, October 9, 2023.

The Table, supported by 5 Loaves 2 Fish, Inc., will again be providing FREE weekday noon meals to kids through age 18 this summer. All kids through age 18 are invited to attend. Parents/caregivers escorting small children are also welcome. Meals will be served weekdays Monday through Friday during the summer starting June 1. Meals will be served from 12-12:30 pm with activities available following lunch through 1 pm.  Take home meals are also available. Volunteers are needed to help serve food. Parents/caregivers escorting young children are also welcome to attend. Meals will be served weekdays from noon to 12:30 with activites from 12:30 to 1 pm. Take home meals are also available. The Table is located at the Methodist Church at 885 Maben Avenue in Garner. In addition, volunteers to serve food are needed. Please consider volunteering for this worthwhile cause.
